Gaslight Carnasiwn A41250
2001 Dark Chestnut Mare
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Ceulan Cerys
For photos and more information, CLICK HERE.
Trained English and over fences
Carnasiwn was sold in utero and used as a broodmare only until she returned to Gaslight Farm in 2011. She was put into training under saddle immediately, taking quickly to her new job. She has a long, smooth gait, is quiet and sensible under saddle, and has been ridden and shown once over low fences. With some additional work, Carnsiwn should make a very competitive small pony hunter for a child. Shown in halter once as a foal, Carnasiwn placed as follows: 2001:Res. Supreme Champion and Grand Champion Section A (Judge 1), and Res. Grand Champion Section A (Judge 2), at 5 months of age, SLWPA Hallowe'en Haunt.
Although she has produced 3 foals without any difficulties, Carnasiwn is only being offered as a performance pony. Her price reflects her degree of training and will be adjusted after her training is resumed and she has more miles over fences. Call for more information.
Price: $2500, will consider offers.

Gaslight Ciwt As A Bug A49001
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Ceulan Cerys
2010 Dark Chestnut Section A Filly
Photo Pending
"Cute" is definitely the name for this typey filly. We are not committed to selling this filly as we have not yet retained a daughter, but will consider selling to a show home where she will be used in performance and not just in a breeding program.
Call for photos and to discuss.

Gaslight Absolut A-pending
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Randan Absolutely Fabulous
2011 Chestnut Roan Section A Colt
Absolut's dam is with us on lease from the Dickmeyer family, EOS Welsh Ponies. They had imported "Fineen" from Wales and produced some lovely foals in Wales and for the Dickmeyers. She is a high percentage Coed Coch-bred mare, with straight Coed Coch on the bottom. Brought out to show twice in 2011 as a "class filler" to help the ratings, Absolut was judged Reserve Grand Champion at 7 weeks of age. We were hoping for a filly to retain, but this colt is so spectacular that we are not anxious to sell him.
Price: $2,200, consideration will be given to a Welsh show home.

Gaslight Lyle A-pending
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Ceulan Lynette
2011 Dark Chestnut Section A Colt
Lyle is the first foal produced from our spectacularly successful show mare, *Ceulan Lynette. Chunky and full of classic Mountain Pony Type, Lyle was bred to be a performance pony. His pedigree could be an asset to someone's breeding program. We believe strongly in geldings and performance, and geld all of our unsold colts, regardless of quality, at 12 months of age. He was foaled in June, so will be scheduled for gelding in the Fall of 2012 if not sold before then.
Price: $1,800, consideration given to a Welsh performance show home.

Gaslight Lyric A49000
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Ceulan Lorelei LOM
2010 Chestnut Section A Colt
Lyric was the last foal out of our beloved mare, *Ceulan Lorelei LOM, who we had to euthanize in October 2010. Lyric was retained to show and contribute the final points for her Dam LOM, which was awarded to her in 2011. Although she gave us the daughter we had been wanting, we plan to retain one of the full brothers, either Lyric or Lancelot. Both are superb movers with gentle dispositions, excellent stallions to be around and to handle. The buyer will determine which of the brothers we ultimately retain!
Price: $2,200, will give consideration to a Welsh performance show home.

"Lance" was sold as a weanling but we had the opportunity to buy him back in 2007. His dam was one of our favorite mares, an outstanding performance pony with a phenomenal work ethic. An episode of severe laminitis brought her show career to an untimely end, shortly before she could complete her LOM. She did not conceive for several years and we had sold the only daughter she had produced. Lance was her only intact son, and we wanted to insure that we had her bloodlines to carry on. Miraculously, she settled that year, giving us the filly we wanted so desperately. We did not attempt to breed Lorelei again until after she was moved to our Oregon farm. She settled easily and with careful management of her diet, she foaled a stunning colt that we showed as a yearling, to complete the points needed to secure her Dam LOM. We lost Lorelei in 2010. Although we have her daughter Lillith to carry on her lines, and though Lance and his brother Lyric are closely related to most of our ponies, we still plan to retain one of them. We do not need two full siblings, so have decided we will sell either Lance or his younger full sibling, Lyric, and will then retain the other.
Lance has been trained under saddle but will require more time to become a show pony than we have to devote. He accomplished what we needed him to do, to complete a "leg" for his dam's LOM, so was retired from showing. He sired 3 foals in 2011, from Section A and D mares. He is a gentleman through and through, easy to breed, a quiet and well-mannered stallion that is easy to handle and live with. He was able to do live cover on the 14-2 cob mare without requiring any berm or alteration in the ground around her.
Price: $3,000, will consider offers

Gaslight Shamrock A43952
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Wharley Silver Charm
2004 Bay Section A Stallion
For photos and more information, CLICK HERE to go to his page in our Stallion section.
Rocky was trained to drive by Gerald Verkuyl to make sure he had a job. I had so much fun driving him that we retained him for that purpose, even though he is too closely bred to my mares to consider using him ourselves. I left him intact, partly because he was such an excellent advertisement for the disposition that his sire gives to his sons. However, since our move to our Oregon farm, I have not had the time to devote to working and driving him, so he has been standing idle. We will likely geld him in the spring of 2012 so that he can be turned out with the mares to enjoy some socialization, until I have the time to drive him again.
Rocky has never covered a mare so is unproven as a stallion, and therefore not being represented as a sire. Rocky is priced as a performance pony, although he has the looks, pedigree and disposition worthy of consideration for a breeding program.
Price: $5,000

Section C Ponies:
Gaslight Amaterasu C48077
*Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD x *Synod Aurora
2009 Chestnut Section C Filly
"Terry" is the second foal from our foundation C mare, and a repeat of the cross that produced Gaslight Amber LOM. Amber was a first foal, so has stayed small, but Terry is already taller than her sister and will likely mature closer to 13 hands. Her head is not as extreme as Amber's, but still a lovely, feminine head and an improvement on her dam. She was named after a Japanese sun goddess due to the odd patch of white on her right hip that looks remarkably like three Japanese characters, one on top of the other. We are retaining her older sister, and although Terry is more the size that we want to produce in our C program, she is for sale at this time.
Price: $4000, considerations will be made for a Welsh show home.

Section D Cobs:
Gaslight Hesha D-pending
Ranlan The Marshall x *Gallod Hafwen
2011 Black Section D Filly -- star, 2 socks, one partial coronet
Photo Pending
Hesha is the first Section D foal produced at Gaslight Farm. The Section D program belongs to Ben and Shannon Maurer, our son and daughter-in-law, who moved their family from AZ when we relocated to our Oregon farm. Ben had ridden the Section A's as a child, but always wanted a cob. Living with us on the farm has made it possible for him to follow that dream.
Contact Ben or Shannon directly for more information. (928) 300-5432, or email aromafusion@gmail.com
Foals of 2012:
We are expecting only one foal in 2012. *Randan Absolutely Fabulous, a primarily Coed Coch-bred mare we have on lease from the Dickmeyers, was bred back to *Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD for a repeat of the cross that gave us Gaslight Absolut in 2011. This foal will not be available until after foaling, as we will retain it if it is a filly.
Our 2012 breeding season will not start until April. Section A mares being bred in 2012 to our new palomino Section A stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino, include *Wharley Silver Charm, *Ceulan Lydia and a 6 year old Lwcus daughter out of our foundation mare, Gaslight Cinderella. Cinderella's 2013 foal has already been reserved inutero. *Ceulan (J) Bounce was to go to Cappuccino, but we received a request to have her bred to our bay Lwcus son, Gaslight Shamrock. That foal has been reserved. We will breed *Randan Absolutely Fabulous back to Lwcus, after she foals. Our Section C mare, *Synod Aurora, is also being bred to Lwcus, using frozen semen.
Mares available for breeding upon request:
Gaslight Seren Arian - "Star" is a chestnut Lwcus daughter out of *Wharley Silver Charm, and a full sister of Gaslight Shamrock. She has wonderful classic mountain pony Type and built for performance, with a quiet disposition perforect for kids. She will eventually be sent for training, but has to wait her turn. She could be bred to our new palomino stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino, upon request.
Gaslight Lillith - Lillith is a Lwcus daughter out of one of our favorite mares, *Ceulan Lorelei LOM. She is currently in training with Carrie MacWhorter and part of her 2012 show string. If someone would like her to be bred to our new palomino stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino, or another stallion of their choice, arrangements can be made for AI and transported semen while she is in training. Call us to discuss.
Gaslight Siocled Kiss - Kiss is a Lwcus daughter out of a very heavily Coed Coch-bred mare, a halter and multiple performance champion under saddle and in cart. Her dam, Gaslight Siwgr Baby LOM, produced Gaslight Sweet Surrender LOM, currently being successfully shown under saddle and over fences, on the "A" Hunter circuit as well as WPCSA, with multiple hunter and Supreme Champion Gelding wins to his credit. Kiss provided the 3rd and final "leg" for her dam's LOM in 2011.
*Ceulan (J) Bounce - Bounce is a phenomenal producer, dam of the 2005 National Hi Point Champion Section A Colt, who was also Reserve Champion in 2004. Bounce has two "legs" of her Dam LOM. Ridden lightly in her early years, never shown under saddle because her foals have been too much in demand. They are rarely available after foaling as they are generally reserved inutero. Her 2013 foal will be no exception. Bounce is being bred by request to Gaslight Shamrock, and the 2013 foal is now on reserve.
*Ceulan Lydia - Outstanding halter mare, has competed successfully under saddle, also trained to drive. She is a full sister of our senior stallion, has produced 3 full siblings by *Wharley Magic Flute. She is being bred to our new palomino stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino, in 2012.
*Ceulan Lynette - A prolific winner in hand in the UK and USA, with multiple championships to her credit, including Reserve Supreme. Daughter of a Royal Welsh winner, who is a full sister of our top-winning performance mare, *Ceulan Lorelei. She is now trained, competing in harness and under saddle, was the leadline pony for our granddaughter until she foaled in 2011. Lynette is available to be bred back to *Ceulan Lwcus LOM/AOE/OD or could be bred to our new palomino stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino, upon request.
*Wharley Silver Charm - Predominently Coed Coch breeding. Her dam was a winner of multiple in-hand championships in the UK. Charm showed only 1 year in the USA, was champion in hand multiple times. She is trained under saddle. We were so pleased with her first foal, Gaslight Shamrock, that we retained him as our junior stallion, have trained him in harness and are competing in carriage and pleasure driving. We retained his full sister. Charm is being bred to our new palomino stallion, *Ceulan Cappuccino in 2012.
*Ceulan Cerys - shown under saddle for a year on a local Quarter Pony circuit, Cerys won a Hi Point saddle for us. Her first foal is being shown in performance, her second took a Reserve Supreme at her first show at age 5 months. Her 2004 colt Gaslight Criced is showing well in halter, already placing Grand Champion Section A Gelding and Supreme Champion Gelding as a two year old. He was the 2006 National Champion Section A 2/Under Geldings. He completed the first "leg" for his dam's LOM in 2011.
Gaslight Siwgr Bear - A Lwcus daughter out of Gaslight Siwgr Baby LOM, combining Coed Coch and old Revel lines. Bear is a part of our performance show string, teaching our granddaughter Haley how to ride. She may not be available for breeding until 2013.
